I’m with you every day, following softly at your heels as you go about your life. I watch you with the same adoring eyes you remember, tail wagging at every little thing that makes you smile. And when night falls and you climb into bed, I curl up right next to you, just like always. Yes, those tiny footsteps you feel on the blanket, are mine.
