    Fur Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to every fur mama.

Today we celebrate mothers in every form and that absolutely includes the women who wake up early to fill food bowls, who never take a trip without arranging animal care, who have fur on every outfit and wouldn't trade it for anything.

Our animal companions are our fur children. We love them the way a mother loves, fiercely, selflessly, and without condition. They don't share our last name, but they own a piece of our hearts that nothing else can touch.
They greet us like we hung the moon. They curl up beside us on the hard days without needing an explanation. They trust us completely, and in doing so, they teach us what love really looks like.

To every dog mom, cat mom, bunny mom, bird mom; you are seen today. The middle-of-the-night vet runs, the handmade birthday treats, the baby talk you only use with the, that is motherhood, full stop.

They chose you. You chose them. And every single day since, you've shown up for each other.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas, human and fur alike. May your day be filled with snuggles, slobbery kisses, and all the love your heart can hold.
